Procedure
How containment works
- Step 1File a report
Postal code, a couple of photos, pick a day from tomorrow on. Your card is held on file, not charged.
- Step 2Unit dispatched
You get a text the day before. We cut out every trace of the old caulk, then clean and dry the joint.
- Step 3Contained
A new bead of mould-resistant silicone. Keep it dry for 24 hours. Your card is charged once the job is done.

Per tub or shower, plus HST
One price whether it's a standard tub or a walk-in shower. Charged to the card on file after the job, not before.
Dispatch a unitIncluded
- Full removal of the old caulk, including the residue
- Mould treatment and drying of the joint
- Mould-resistant 100% silicone, colour-matched (white, clear, almond or grey)
- Tub-to-wall, tub-to-floor, corners and fixtures
- Clean-up. You won't know we were there, except it looks new.
Not included
- Regrouting, tile repair or replacing broken tile
- Soft or rotted wall behind the tub. If we find it, we stop, show you, and you aren't charged.

Questions
Do I need to be home?
Someone needs to let us in and show us the bathroom. After that, you don't need to stay in the room. Most jobs take about 2 hours.
When can I shower again?
Give it 24 hours before the seal gets wet. That's why a morning slot is popular: you're back in the shower by breakfast the next day.
Why can't I book for today?
Each day has a limited number of units. Booking a day ahead means we arrive on time with the right colour silicone, and you get a reminder the day before.
What if the mould is behind the caulk?
Surface mould comes out with the old caulk and gets treated. If the wall behind is soft or rotted, that's a bigger repair than recaulking. We'll stop, show you what we found, and you won't be charged.
Why do you need photos?
So we can confirm it's a recaulking job before we arrive, and bring the right colour. If the photos show it needs more than caulk, we'll tell you before the appointment.
What's the cancellation policy?
Cancel or reschedule free up to 24 hours before your slot by replying to your confirmation text. Inside 24 hours, a $50 late-cancel fee goes on the card on file.
Why is my card needed up front?
It holds your slot. Nothing is charged until the job is done, apart from the $50 fee if you cancel inside 24 hours. Cards are handled by Stripe, and we never see or store your card number.
